Uptime Kuma

Overview

Uptime Kuma is used to monitor service uptime and endpoint reachability.

The current instance is hosted on the Berlin Tailscale router tail-router-ber.

Access

1. Connect to the HV Tailnet.
2. Open the Uptime Kuma URL for tail-router-ber.
3. Sign in with the shared/admin credentials stored in 1Password.
4. If you do not have access, contact support@hvcapital.com.

Common Tasks

Check current service status

1. Open the dashboard.
2. Review monitor states (Up, Down, Pending).
3. Open a failing monitor to inspect response history and outage duration.

Add a monitor

1. Click Add New Monitor.
2. Select monitor type (HTTP(s), TCP Port, Ping, and so on).
3. Configure target, interval, and retry behavior.
4. Save and confirm the first check passes.

Troubleshooting

• If the UI is unreachable, confirm you are connected to Tailnet and that tail-router-ber is online.
• If all checks fail at once, verify router egress and DNS on tail-router-ber.
• If notifications are missing, review notification provider settings and test a notification manually.
